When there are more applications than places for 2026-27 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: If the distance from home to school does not distinguish between two or more applicants with equal priority for the remaining place, random allocation will be used as the final tie-breaker. This will be supervised by someone independent of the School.
Children with a statement of special educational needs or EHCP naming the school are admitted before oversubscription criteria are applied (per statutory requirement, not numbered as criterion 1 in the document's list, though a separate criterion 2 references EHCP more generally for cases where the school is not uniquely named).
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
