When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Year 7), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Where two or more applicants share priority for a place, the child to be offered a place will be selected by the drawing of lots. Lots will be drawn by a senior officer of the Greenshaw Learning Trust Shared Service who is independent of the school’s admissions process.
The school also has a Special Educational Resource Base with 35 places for students with an EHCP, allocated separately by Bristol City Council's SEN Team, not part of the mainstream oversubscription criteria. Pupil Premium (Priority 5) only applies at the normal point of entry (Year 7), not for in-year admissions.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
