When there are more applications than places for 2026-27 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: If there are not enough places for all the children in one of these priority groups, priority will be given, in order, to those living nearest the school. All distance measurements are based on the straight-line route from the Ordnance Survey address point of a child's permanent home address to school's main entrance. If two, or more, applicants live an equal distance from the school, a random allocation will be used.
Parkwood Primary School has Resourced Provision (RP); places for RP are allocated through a separate process and applicants are advised to contact the school directly for more information. This differs from Victoria Primary School, which has its own separate Priority Area oversubscription criteria (section 2.5) not applicable to Parkwood.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
