When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Tie Break – when demand exceeds places in any of the following policies, the distance between the child’s home and school, measured by a straight line distance from the Ordnance Survey address point of the home to the main entrance to the school building, will be used to decide who is given a place; those living nearest being given the available places. Where the offer of places to applicants with equi-distant addresses would lead to oversubscription, the decision of who will be offered the place will be made by random selection.
PAN of 24 is for Reception (R) entry as listed in the trust's PAN table. This is a multi-academy trust document (The Priestley Academy Trust) covering several named primary schools, including Miriam Lord Primary School, which shares identical oversubscription criteria with the other trust schools. Miriam Lord Primary School also has nursery provision as noted in the document.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
