When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Year 7), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: The distance between the child's home and school, measured by a straight-line distance from the Ordnance Survey address point of the home to the main entrance to the school building, will be used to decide who is given a place; those living nearest being given the available places. Where the offer of places to applicants with equidistant addresses would lead to oversubscription, the decision of who will be offered the place will be made by random selection.
EHCP children admitted to named school without reference to oversubscription criteria. Waiting list maintained by Local Authority until 31 December of the admissions year. Multiple birth siblings may be admitted above PAN if only one sibling can otherwise be offered a place.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
