When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Where the last remaining place is to be allocated and two or more children are deemed to live at the same distance from the school, the place will be decided by the drawing of lots.
Within each oversubscription criterion, the following sub-ordering provisions are applied in turn: (a) sibling on roll at time of admission; (b) social, pastoral and medical needs with professional evidence; (c) children of staff employed 2+ years or recruited to fill a skill shortage post; (d) proximity measured in straight line from school entrance using LA GIS. Twins and multiple birth siblings are admitted together where one is the last child ranked within the PAN.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
