When there are more applications than places for 2026-27 (P1), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: If having applied the priorities to the applications, there are more children meeting the same criteria and priorities than there are available spaces, places will be determined based upon the distance that the child lives from the school, priority being given to the child(ren) living closest to the school requested.
Each child requires a separate application form and parents can indicate a second choice of school, considered only if the first cannot be offered. All placing requests are considered centrally; no decisions are made by individual schools. Attendance at a school nursery gives no entitlement to that school's P1; an approved out-of-zone primary place gives no entitlement to the cluster academy. Acceptance of one child does not guarantee a sibling a place. Parents are fully responsible for transport, though they may apply for a seat on existing transport which can be withdrawn without notice.
